Wildlife Mississippi works with Ducks Unlimited, The Nature Conservancy, and Congress to continue the popular Wetlands Reserve Program. Since 1992, approximately 200,000 acres in Mississippi have been enrolled in the voluntary program, which provides financial and technical assistance to landowners to restore previously cleared, high-risk lands to wetland forests.
