Wildlife Mississippi expands its work to help historically underserved landowners, including African-Americans, enroll in federally funded conservation programs for preserving wetlands, forests and other habitats. Mississippi has the largest percentage of historically underserved landowners of any state. Wildlife Mississippi regularly participates in workshops for such landowners and works with the KKAC Foundation, the Black Landowners Agricultural and Conservation Land Trust and other organizations.
