Wildlife Mississippi works to establish its Wildlife Habitat Seed Program, with its first offering of low-cost seed the following year to private landowners and public agencies for the establishment of food plots for a variety of wildlife. To date, the program has led to the enhancement of approximately 284,000 acres on private lands and public lands.
